There is no atonement for sin without sacrificial blood

In the Old Testament, especially in the Torah (the first five books of the Bible), we come across specific instructions involving blood sacrifices that were performed according to specific instructions. Without these blood sacrifices there would be no redemption from sin and its devastating consequences. It is only upon REPENTANCE of sin, and BLOOD sacrifice that God reinstated His relationship, grace, and mercy.

"[In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins." – Heb 9:22

The Blood of Jesus guarantees a life of victory

"But now in Christ Jesus, you who once were [so] far away, through (by, in) the blood of Christ have been brought near." – Eph 2:13
